Cheryl Riner Hodge is a professional artist. Born in Seattle, WA, she has lived in Savannah, GA, Augusta, GA, Long Island, NY, Charleston, SC, Japan, and England. Her advanced education and career in pediatric dental hygiene stimulated her interest in children’s art. Cheryl began her artistic career in Charleston. Her principal medium is watercolor; she also enjoys pen and ink drawing, painting furniture, tile and fabric.
She finds inspiration in everything around her—people, places and things—and has been professionally creating for nearly three decades. Her art is filled with detail and punctuated with light and vivid color. Her work can be found in many private and corporate national and international collections. Her favorite subjects include florals, portraits, pet portraits, historic buildings and home portraits.
She accepts a variety of commission work. Cheryl lives in Rome, GA, with her husband. Her daughter resides in Marietta, GA, with her husband and their two children.
